1. About this policy
This Refund Policy ("Policy") explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds work on maarket.ai, and forms part of our Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Platform is owned and operated by Promptworks Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 ("Promptworks", "Company", "we", "us", or "our").
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and the Pricing Page (maarket.ai/pricing), which is incorporated into the Terms by reference. Capitalised terms used but not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Terms.
2. Scope
Promptworks charges for optional promotional plans ("Boost Plans") and any other paid services offered on the Platform from time to time. Listing a product on maarket.ai is free. This Policy applies to all payments made to Promptworks for Boost Plans and any other paid service.
We are not a party to any transaction, subscription, or agreement between you and any Vendor or third party whose software you discover through the Platform. Any payments you make to a Vendor for its software are governed solely by that Vendor's terms and refund policy; Promptworks cannot refund, cancel, or reverse them.
3. No refunds
ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO PROMPTWORKS FOR BOOST PLANS OR ANY OTHER PAID SERVICE ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not provide refunds, credits, or pro-rated reimbursements for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Partial or unused billing periods;
- Cancellation or downgrade before the end of a billing period;
- Dissatisfaction with results, traffic, leads, rankings, or conversions;
- Changes to plan features, the Platform, or ranking methodology;
- Removal of your Listing or Sponsored Content for breach of the Terms;
- Suspension or termination of your account for breach; or
- Your failure to use the benefits included in your plan (for example, not supplying materials for a case study, interview, or social post within the applicable month).
Unused monthly inclusions do not roll over to subsequent months. All plan offerings and services must be used within 30 days of the plan purchase date; any unused offerings or services expire after this 30-day period and cannot be carried forward or rolled over.
By purchasing a Boost Plan, you expressly acknowledge that you have read and understood this no-refund policy and that it is a material term on which we have agreed to provide the plan at the stated price.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your Boost Plan at any time through your account settings or by emailing [founders@maarket.ai]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period; you will continue to receive plan benefits until then, and no further charges will be made thereafter.
Consistent with Section 3 above, cancellation does not entitle you to any refund of fees already paid. Upon expiry of your plan, your featured placement, banner, and other Sponsored Content will be removed and your Listing will revert to the Free plan and be ranked according to Karma Points.
5. Failed payments and chargebacks
If a payment fails or is declined, we may suspend or downgrade your Boost Plan benefits until payment is received. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge you authorised is a breach of the Terms; we reserve the right to suspend your account, remove your Listing, and recover the disputed amount together with any fees and costs incurred.
6. Taxes
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, levies, and duties, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India and any withholding, sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes in your jurisdiction. Where Promptworks is required to collect tax, it will be added to your invoice. Taxes paid are not refundable except where required by applicable law.
7. Account deletion and termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting [founders@maarket.ai]. Deleting your account does not entitle you to any refund and does not automatically cancel an active Boost Plan; you must cancel the plan separately as described in Section 4 above.
Where we suspend or terminate your account for breach of the Terms, manipulation, fraud, or other reasons described in the Terms, termination does not entitle you to any refund.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement. Where applicable law grants you a non-excludable right to a refund or remedy, that law prevails over this Policy to the extent of the inconsistency.
