AI-native tools worth paying for

Jul 15, 2026·1 min read

Our shortlist of AI-first software that actually saves time, not just adds another tab.

Every product now has an AI feature bolted on. That does not make it useful. We look for AI-native tools: products where the AI is the reason the product exists, not a marketing sticker.

What "AI-native" means to us

An AI-native tool usually has three traits. The core workflow would not make sense without the model. The product gets better as you use it. And it replaces a real task, not just adds another step.

Categories we are watching

Writing and research assistants that actually understand context. Coding tools that speed up review and refactoring. Sales tools that draft follow-ups from call notes. And support tools that handle the repetitive questions so humans handle the hard ones.

Be skeptical of hype

If a tool's main selling point is that it uses AI, dig deeper. Ask what job it does, how reliably it does it, and what happens when the model is wrong. The best AI tools feel boring in the best way: they just work.

Our shortlist

We keep a running list of AI-native tools on Maarket. Every entry is reviewed by hand, and we only add products we would actually recommend to a founder friend.
